Description

This suit of armor is reinforced with a magically enhanced metal alloy called mizzium, which is made in Izzet foundries. While you're wearing the armor, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit. In addition, when you are subjected to a magical effect that allows you to make a Strength or Constitution saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw. In addition, it provides a +2 bonus to those saving throws as well as to AC.

In addition, when the wearer casts a spell that heals hit points, they can heal every creature of their choice within 15 feet of the target for 2 + the spell's level. This can be used a number of times equal to the wearer's proficiency modifier, restoring all uses on a long rest.

If they are a cleric with the Disciple of Life feature, they can add one quarter of their level, rounded down, to the healing done to the targets of their spells. This does not apply to the bonus healing feature above.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
