Klethell plays his heritage close to his chest. He was mortal once and claimed the mantle of godhood from another, but he never reveals his parentage, siblings, or descendants for fear they could be used against him.

Klethell is depicted as a powerful demonic force, though his depictions can also show a more pleasing humanoid visage, both male and female depending on the reasoning.
Who worships this deity?:
Klethell is worshipped by those who want power, though it often comes at a price. This includes a lot of demons and devils, and Klethell remains one of the few that can unite the disparate fiends so readily and easily.
What are this deity’s followers/worshippers like?:
The Followers of Klethell are cold and calculating, shrewd, and power hungry. It's considered a rite of passage to succeed those of higher rank through violent or underhanded means. They are known to provide assistance, but they always ask something in return...usually a favor to be called upon at a later date.
What rituals must be done to serve or worship this deity?:
In order to serve Klethell, you must convince the priesthood of your earnestness to serve...yourself. You must pick a member of the flock and find a way to get them to sponsor your membership...usually through a contract or some owed favor.
What values does this deity and their faith promote?
Klethell and his followers promote the use of any means to obtain power. They also champion waiting for the opportune moment and using more than simple brute strength to accomplish your goals.
How did mortals first become aware of this deity? Does it have any prophets or holy texts?:
Klethell first became known to the mortals as a god the moment he ascended to godhood in the Hels. He clawed his way to the top, amassing power and favors through contracts and deals. See the Myth of the Poised Hammer below. He has no real prophest or holy texts, save for the terms of the contracts used to bind others to service.
How does this deity affect the physical world? For example, does it do miracles or send physical avatars into the world?:
Klethell tends to take an active role in the physical world, seeking to consolidate power further in every way to further his goals. He sends his minions to engage with mortals he feels could best serve his end goal of consolidating power.
What is the most famous myth or story about this deity?:
Klethell started as a mortal being, living and dying as would be expected. He served the dark powers in life and was sent as a petitioner to serve under them in death. He grew in power, eventually proving himself worthy of being counted among the fiends.
What incarnation of fiend he took is purposely lost to time itself, a method of protecting himself from others having any knowledge that could be used against him, much as the actual history of his family is erased from the the same. But he still grew in power, using whatever he had at his disposal to barter for favors or contracts.
He bided his time as he grew in power, serving others as a means to an end, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. As two mighty fiendish gods engaged in a terrible titanic battle across the Hels, Klethell waited. And watched. When one was finally weakened, he called every last favor he held to ride in against the weakened foe. Standing above the demonic god, Klethell stole the mantle of godhood, declaring himself a deity, and crowning himself in the Hels as one of its Masters. Epilogue
The blade was gifted to Lynfaere as part of a contract for service to Klethell. Now that it's gone missing with The Lady of Sorrow's defeat, the Poised Hammer seeks to reclaim it, if for no other reason than to use it to secure anothe contract...or possibly to hasten the return of the Lady of Sorrow to his service.
